The American Alligator is a very valuable natural resource in Louisiana. From its rugged hide is made some of the most elegant and expensive leather products in the world. Jean Paul Menicucci uses this material to cut and stitch the most beautiful exotic straps money can buy. We have used medium padding because an elegant strap should not be too thick. But we also love to pair an alligator strap with a more sporty watch. For this reason we have selected some traditional as well as some more daring color options.
The top side is made from a premium Louisiana alligator leather that has a wonderful vintage look to it, the bottom side is an Italian calf leather. The straps are hand stitched with a waxed thread.
